ive officially made my mind up, im pulling out of this 240/drifting scene.

I sold my other 240 a couple weeks ago, and i got this one to sell also.

Info:

-1989 Hatch

  • recent engine rebuild from head up
  • Enigne pulls strong
  • All power options
  • Everything works
  • good body
  • frame rails are not the best
  • 285 XXXkm on the dash

The good about the car:

  • Brand new clutch with resurfaced flywheel, not even borken in yet, just installed it 2 days ago
  • New used alternator done at the same time with the clutch
  • Brand new all season tires
  • New but used Brake Booster, installed last week
  • Newer pads all around
  • Hand brake works and holds stong!
  • Great exterior body with very easy to fix rust spot
  • Wingless, rustless hatch, this hatch is MINT
  • Recent engine rebuild by last owner , who btw was an old guy in his 50’s id say (about 10 000km or so ago)
  • New tranny fluid with clutch
  • Oil change done today
  • Alarm
  • Keyless entry
  • Brand new battery
  • newer sunroof seal (used to leak)
  • Recent headers back exhaust with new CAT (stock replacement)
  • Rockers are in great shape
  • minimal surface rust in a couple spots
  • clean interior
  • clean exterior ( i know it doesnt look clean in the pics, but its just dirty, needs a wash)

The bad:

  • Like i said, frame rails could be better, thats all everythign else is tip top shape

Since i totalled my winter car not too long ago, im paranoid to drive this car in the winter, its too much for me. I cant afford to have another accident. Thats why im selling it. I cant drive this thing in the winter. Too risky for me and i cant take that chance to fishtail into someone or someting!

So like i said, im pulling out of the 240 game and getting another FWD drive.
That being said, im selling all my 240 parts, including what ive gathered for my ka-t (ka24de) turbo kit, check my stuff for sale post in parts for sale.

This will make a nice beater or a great parts car if you have the time to part it.

Saw the car. Clean body, rails are typical. easy fix though. Engine pulls really strong. Exhaust is new, and along with everything else he mentioned.

Someone should jump on this. The guy is open offers.

I would have gotten it if it was the DOHC.

u wanna trade for an 90 Accord? 4door white DX needs windshield and powersteering. there also is a timing problem but i’ll see if i can get that fixed the interior is dark red, and its an automatic. let me know if your interested.
