FS: 1989 Silvia and turbo upgrade parts

This was my daily driver since i bought it in July last year. i haven’t driven it more than 10,000kms since i got it and it was stored last winter. the car is currently in storage for this winter already.

current state of the car though is blown head gasket. i could get the required parts (HG, copper HG spray, ARP head studs), but i don’t have the time, place or money to fix it right now.

the car dynoed (mustang dyno) 160whp/171ftlbs without the downpipe and uppipe at only 10 degrees of timing advance. i expect it would make atleast 10 more whp with the new additions and 15 degrees of advance (stock advance).

i’m setting my price kinda high, but imo, it’s well worth it for this car, because of the body and paint labor alone would have cost the average person $3000-4000.

i pieced together these parts for my Silvia over the past year, and now my car’s done for the winter, and i need a winter beater ASAP. all parts are used but good condition

Spearco 24/7 intercooler, 760cfm, 510HP max capacity. core measures 20X7.8X3.5 inches - asking $500 OBO

HKS GT2530R turbo bought used for over $1100 then spent $200 more for helicoils and wastegate actuator testing (set to 11psi by Western Turbo), i won’t take less than $1000

DSM 450CC injectors top feed low impedance (set of 4) $200

Infiniti Q45 MAF sensor - finer resolution than Z32 MAFs, but less flow capacity. good for 350-400hp setups. no harness $150

Apexi S-AFC 2 bought new, but used in my last car. works fine, good for use with Q45 MAF. paid $604 new, selling for $400

HKS uppipe for 5bolt T25 turbos. comes with sensor and EGR pipe as well. $150obo

brand new T-bolt clamps for 2.5"-3.0" IC piping. set of 8 - i believe i paid $76 for them. no lowballers since most speed shops charge $10-15 each.

i believe that’s all of it, aside from spark plugs and wlbro 255lph fuel pump, which are already in the car, but this setup will net 250-280whp on a CA or SR with dyno tuning. i also have the fuel maps bin file for a CA with similar setup to get a good baseline for dynoing, as long as you have access to a ROM burner.

i’ll sell everything together for $12,000 obo or $10,000 cash.

are my prices too high? not one response, well, if someone took it for $7000 including all the parts, i’d have to bite that bullet, but is there ANY interest at all?

there’s about 97,000 kms on the odometer now, and bought the car with 89,000kms on it. car was in one accident i know of, see my cardomain. no frame damage, all cosmetic. since i’ve got it it’s been Quaker State Synthetic 5w40 oil and 3684 filter. car drives straight, some slight damper squeak but the dampers are still stiff on 4 setting, and a loose shield underneath rattles sometimes.

is there anything else that people may want to know?

seems like a good price to me? even if the buyer had to pay for the head gasket to be done at a shop, they wouldn’t be looking at more than a grand right? So that’s a pretty good deal for a silvia that looks great and should be ready to lay down some solid 13sec 1/4’s!

However…are you in winnipeg?

the Headgasket is fixed now and the 450cc injectors, hks turbo and s-afc are installed now. the car runs great! more power than before, almost maxing out the maf at 9psi already.

all u need is to install the included Q45 maf and FMIC, and you’re good to go to the dyno! any offers?

interested. Im just trying to sell my car first. I have a 240 with a ton of mods, but i want to go the 180 or silvia route instead. This is a very nice car.
