1991 Pulsar GTi-R
Black
Less than 70,000klm on original motor and body.
Exterior is in near perfect condition
Interior is in near perfect condition
As expected, underbody is literally perfect.
This particular car won 1st place in CSCS Time Attack last year (So yes, it has seen track time)
There are no major problems with the car. The biggest thing is that the clutch slave and/or master cylinders need a rebuild. I have a brand new rebuild kit from Nissan Japan for both the Slave and Master but I have not done the work yet. I drive the car every day in it’s current state, it’s just difficult to engage gears when you’re not moving and changing gears quickly is a bit of a pain but regular driving is fine.
The stock oil pressure gauge does not work.
The windows go up a bit crooked and therefore go up slower than they are supposed to - I’m told this can be fixed easily by taking the door skins off and adjusting something but I don’t know anything about it - it doesn’t bother me.
Car used to make over 400hp with its current setup but since I got it I’ve detuned it (car has standalone engine management, see below) and turned it back in to more or less a proper street car. It is currently loosely tuned for 0.9BAR (I run 0.8BAR daily) and 94 Octane. Boost is easily adjustable in-car via the Apex’i Commander hand held unit.
I put stock shocks/springs on it off of a parts car with 30,000klm on it, they are in great shape.
Mods that I can think of are:
HKS Front Mount Intercooler
HKS Turbo Timer
HKS Boost Gauge
HKS Cams (unknown durations)
HKS Blow Off Valve
5Zigen Fireball Exhaust
5Zigen Headers
555cc Injectors
