These are the people that go through life seeing how much of a cheapskate they can be.
I enjoy driving Audis and I think it is worth the extra cost of German repairs.
I am not going to drive around in a Honda civic to see how much money I can save.
I am a driving enthusiast not a cheapskate enthusiast, my goal in life is to enjoy, not see how cheap I can be.

i was considering an audi when i was looking for my new car. decided against it cause i wanna be able to work on my car and not have repairs/maintenance be a hassle. that, and i dont have to much cash to spend on fixing cars. went with the xterra cause its simple mechanically. I dont see myself as a cheapskate, its just that i cant afford for the car to break. Learned my lesson with all that shit with the 300zx. put twice as much into that car just repairing it as i did to purchase it. so much money lost, so much.

or i could spend ALLLL the money i make in a year on 2 cars.
oh and that “quote” of me buying an M3 was funkylemons not signing off my name at work…i can think of a couple other cars id rather buy for 50k. or maybe do something reasonable with 50k like, i donno, use that to buy a house.
