The bad:
Power steering leaks, havent investigated the cause
NO, if you could read, or cared to comprehend what you read, I have never investigated the power steering leak, I just fill it when its low.
The problem was that the car had water on the floor but I found a grommet under the engine bay was out of place when they installed the hood.
So please read and understand what it is that you are talking about before you post in my thread.:cjerk: :roll2: :2fingers: :bloated: :violin2: :smash2: :retard: :ham:
If you could read, or comprehend. I knew what the problem was with the PS leak. And since it still exists, and is likely a very expensive fix, if anyone is thinking about buying this car, feel free to contact me for my opinion on what it is.
So please read and understand it is that you are talking about before you make a jackass of yourself in your own thread. :roll2:
Stay out of my thread if you have nothing positive to contribute. And its a great ability to be able to SPECULATE ABOUT A PROBLEM THAT YOU HAVENT SEEN to comment on it to potential buyers. Anyone is welcome to take the car to a REAL mechanic to identify the problem. But maybe you should listen to Walter because he seems to be the omnisent one around here.
Go ahead, I’m pretty sure no one on here would be stupid enough to buy a car with the advise “yea, just top off the PS fluid once a week and it’ll be fine” :ugh: There’s nothing wrong with keeping someone honest
It’s a real nice clean ride. The reliability of the a4 got a 7.8 on consumer guide from what i remember. The only things that were checked for moderate problems on the 1996 are Steering & Suspension and Heating & Air Conditioning. Everything else checked out great. But what do i know…i’m a girl :gotme:
