FS: 2001 Subaru Impreza L Coupe

I never thought I’d be doing this so soon, and I can’t believe I’m typing this. But the time has come, so here it is:

  • Aspen White 2001 Impreza L Coupe
  • 5 spd manual tranny, which is a WRX transmission with an RA gearset (installed by Hybrid Connection).
  • 2.5 RS front bumper cover, fogs, sideskirts (painted) and coupe spoiler.
  • the car will come with 16 WRX stock wheels and all season tires (silver, not the gold wheels I have currently)
  • 6 disc in dash CD changer out of a WRX
  • WRX sedan rear sway bar
  • generic front upper strut bar
  • Group N front strut tower mounts
  • Weapon R short ram intake
  • WRX catback exhaust
  • Spec Stage one clutch (hydraulic, not cable actuated like the stock clutch, all parts for the conversion from a Legacy turbo, done by Hybrid Connection)
  • Legacy turbo flywheel

I think that’s everything. If I remember any other parts I’ll edit this post later.

The car has just shy of 98,000 miles. Cosmetically, it’s as good as you could expect for a 5 year old car in this area. Mechanically it is very sound. She’s losing a bit of brake fluid currently (from one of the drum brakes, I think) but other than that, she’s perfect.

I wouldn’t call her fast, but she is fun to drive. And there’s no better candidate for a swap than a clean GC8 coupe with a tranny and gearset that are just begging for more power.

I’m asking $7,000. I’m open to offers, but this is a failry firm number. The gearset alone is worth at least $1500.

If anyone is interested, call me at (716)536-1372.

Great car! The gears make it a heck of alot sportier. This is a great car to get into.

Not that anyone here seems to care anyway, but it’s no longer for sale.

The WRX wagon is in my driveway, and I’m a happy Scooby Addict.
