FS: 2002 Saleen S-281 SC Speedster: 9,200 miles!

I’m posting this for a friend of mine who lives in the Southtowns. The car is immaculate and was never driven in any conditions other than dry, sunny days. The owner just had a 3rd child and is looking to buy a bigger home. He really doesn’t want to sell, but he has to. This is his 2nd Saleen and it was cared for like a child.

Real nice car. I know alot of people won’t believe it when it comes to a sports car but in all honesty this thing was never beat on.

I’ve got plenty of space if you want to email them to me.

Yes, it seems as though I’m stalking you on 2 forums

Sup Jason. (OT) I think we got the upper adjustable CA’s figured out today. Car seems like its back on rails again. Turns out that, among other things, we needed about +6 on the front caster for the rubbing to stop. But before we did that I lowered it about a half inch more in the rear to 25.25" with the front still @ 24.75. I also had him add some camber up front from -1.75 to -1.25 with zero toe. Seems alot better. Got the turbos from Autospeed today too. Dropping the car off tomorrow night. I’ll keep you posted.

Back on topic: I’ll email you the pics I have for now and the seller should get me some more soon. Do you think you and the wife want a new toy??? The seeler is one of my best friends since way back when I moved to Buffalo. Get the word out for me as he needs to sell this thing. Check your email for the pics…

i friggen love these cars. and did i read that correctly? #2 out of 768? sweeet.

“sup dood…sup dood”

How you been man? Hows the car? Hopefully you, me and P can catch up sometime. And you’re right about this Saleen…it’s clean. Shit, remember how we used to have to bust his balls just to get him to break it in! Definitely not a car that ever got beat on and it shows in every way.

Yeah, they get alot of attention, especially the white speedsters. And as for the numbering “#2” = 2002 model year, and car #768 for that year…

Thanks bro.

(OT) The guy who posted in this thread “Bracketracer” that’s Jason Dale of Blackforest Motorsports. If I’ve told you once, I’ve told you about a dozen times that he’s your guy for any job that you might not be up for doing on your own casue I know you like to wrench on your car yourself. But if you’re ever in a jam, he’s the one to talk to. And BTW: just an update. Seems I’ve been driving around with a nearly blown passenger side K0-4. Got two new ones going in tomorrow…and I’ll have to address that misfire issue I’m dealing with after that. Once thats done we can do a few runs as you suggested a month or so ago. That’ll give you a go idea of what my stage 3 fueling produces, which I’m sure you’ll want after you see what it does for my car. And no I won’t be running the meth system until Jason gets that going sometime over the winter…

And keep an eye out for me for anyone you know who wants to get in on one super-clean Saleen.

Is this Paul’s car? If so, this is the closest that any1 can find a sweet car that is used but new. Most def super clean:tup:

Real good, the car’s running stronger than ever, unfortunately for me it sits more than I drive it. We gotta definitely meet up and go for a cruise. Yeah, Pauly was more of a slow cruiser so everybody could see his ride, you were always a “drive it like it’s meant to be driven” kinda guy, and seeing as you taught me how to drive with my very first Mustang…

Nice car. GLWTS and hope she finds a good home.

bump for one hell of a car…

and truth about the thing never beat on.
