FS: 2003 Subaru WRX

Ok I’m going to try and sell this whole first, and if I don’t sell it. I’ll be parting it out. It needs a bumper, spark plugs, and a tune, and it will run. Other than that it needs a set of seats and harnesses.

I think it has around 30K miles. I remember when I last drove it the JDM cluster said about 12K kilometers, and I switched the cluster when it had about 20K miles, IIRC.

Asking $16K obo.

what the fuck mike. how come I have never heard about nor seen this car?

christ.

more pics and GLWS!!!

Haha… It’s been sitting for a very long time. The car was in the January, 2005 issue of Super Street magazine, and then it went under the knife to have a bunch of the bigger mods installed, then when I finally got it back, my finances and focus had changed, so I’d rather see it go to someone for a race car or drift project, or deturk and I will part it out hehe.

if you part it i wouldnt mind a few items…

damn thats alot of aftermarket parts and work put into it, gorgeous car GLWS!

any trades?

no, sorry… i need the money for some bills

Any shots of current state? And who did engine/drivetrain work?

that car is tastefully modded. Good work and glws. Wish I had the extra cash to pick it up.

iv seen this car many times. it sits in his parents gerage in the same condition just missing front bumper.

i would rock the shit out of this car… glws!

Siqq!, this thing is hott! Nice price! Specially for all those mods…

he loves the bumper soo much he mounted it on his wall at his office…jun bumper

I need to take some pics for a guy off craigslist, so I’ll post some up tomorrow. I did pretty much all of the work, except the intake manifold, TGV deletes, perrin rails, uppipe/EWG mods, custom cat-back and tranny install was done down at Precision Tuning.

Before I had my race car trailer, I had a shitty one and when backing off, the bumper caught the lip of the trailer and cracked in half, so I’ve decided to keep it as a memory of the car.

Let me give a little backstory here…

I’ve had the car since brand new and started modding it right away… did some autocrossing, etc, along with a track day at Lime Rock. Then I did the body mods and swapped the turbo to a vf22 and did suspension, along with a lot of other mods. Sorry for being so vague because its hard to remember. After a trip to nopi nationals on the Super Street tour, I was chosen to be in the magazine. After the article came out (January, 2005 Super Street), I bought the JDM tranny, got a bunch of sponsorships and did the fp green, and supporting mods. I started to build the car for time attack.

I got real busy with working as a consultant for IBM, travelling 100%. They car was down at Precision Tuning in New Jersey getting most of the mods done, and then we brought it to Agile Auto in Maryland to have Phil from Element Tuning, tune the hydra. There were some issues on the dyno so I had to buy a custom DCCD controller, along with Agile having to fix some boost leaks that seemed to be caused by Precision Tuning. Then after everything, they said they couldn’t get their laptop to connect to the hydra. Fed up with the car being away for so long, we went to get it and brought it back. They hydra has a base map for the mods that Phil from Element put on there. We started it at my parents house up here and my dad revved it to soon and fouled out the plugs. There, it has sat for like 2 years now. If I had more time and money, I surely would finish the build to race in time attack. :frowning:

Here’s a pic from SEMA IAS, 2006… along with my 81’ Wife lol.
