Hey guys…posting this for my dad.
He has a 302 V8 5.0 Motor w/ 30k for sale.
He bought the engine brand new out of a crate for 1,500, or more i think, a few yrs back and put it in his 1986 grand marque. Its still in the car and with a jump the car will run. Batterys dead cuz he let it sit for months.
Oil has been changed every 3000 miles and he has all the recietes (sp) to prove it. There are no leaks, the motor has power, and my father drove it like a old man…the way these cars were made to.
MOTOR IS IN GREAT CONDITION.
The motor comes with the car. Seller can scrap the car if they want…or fix the rust and keep the car too.

Because either people want the whole car or the thing they will want is the motor cuz of its low miles. I know there are a few 5.0 muscle heads out there and could drop this into a stang. Im not parting…im just allowing someone to buy the motor and get the car free of charge

Its in a 1986 Mercury Grand Marque. He had it started and running yesterday, motor runs perfect guys. MIGHT need an alternator, needed a jump but it wasnt started for months so maybe the battery is dead, but everything else is good.
Not to shit on your parade, but you can get a 302 gt40 motor out of a newer explorer/mountaineer with very similar mileage for a few hundred bucks less, and that comes with a six month warranty.
I sell motors every day, so i’m not bullshitting and just making up numbers.
