right, but he specifically stated twice that he was talking about LG, which is the brand in question here.
i might be interested, pending further details.

$600 for a 42" plasma that isnt even high def?
Is it that hard of a concept that TVs from the same manufacturer have different features? I’m not trying to shit on the thread, but giving people relevant information that may pertain to the issue. All I’m trying to do is make sure people know for sure before purchasing if that’s what they want to do.
Either way, good seller. Sorry for the clutter, Josh.
That is not a TV, it is a Monitor(with a pretty low resolution none-the-less).
There is no Television tuner on it.
ya I would pass on these TV’s Lafengas unless you can get them for like 200 each…
yeah, I just saw the specs, no longer interested. I figured it would be atleast 720p.
600 would be a good deal for a 42 but for the specs on that general model and being an older one 600 is kinda steep. new panasonics are selling for 699 and 899 for the 50 inch models. and i use to sell lg they were returned way more than the other brands. good luck with selling them though
yeah, it’s unfortunate that they can’t do 720p or this would be great for an office / bedroom etc…
for those who want to hook up a computer via DVI, you can easily get an DVI -> HDMI for almost nothing since DVI + sound = HDMI
you won’t get sound on a DVI-HDMI cable… also a lot of computers that have HDMI out doesn’t output sound anyways
That Monitor probably doesn’t have speakers anyways. IT IS NOT A TV!!
Agreed.
LOL I hope you didnt pay for these
I bought my 50 inch 720p for $800 new from Best Buy. Use that as a guideline I guess.
if the price is considerably lower, I may pick one up, but I’d rather get a better tv for a little more than what you’re asking. I’m sure most would agree. sorry for being a downer. let me know if the price drops to about half or less, then I’ll buy one for sure.
What about gfx cards that have sound-in on them with hdmi out? I don’t have the equipment to test that functionality just yet
^bump.
Have sold 23 in 4 days.

no offense(because you are NOT mis-representing this item), but I think some people are going to be really pissed when they get this and realize that 1) it is not HD and 2) it is not a TV
The write-up is exactly as LG’s write up. As you say, nothing is hidden or being mis represented nor is it my intent to make people think they are getting a Plasma Television.
Most of our customers are fully aware as they are being purchased for commercial use in Bars and as computer monitors.
