FS: 4'x8' aluminum sheets

These sheets are brand new on a pallet. These are .040" . I’m not sure what they’re worth and I would rather sell the whole pallet there are 35 sheets. I called Metal Supermarket and they sell .032" for $74 . I know they can be had for cheaper but that was just something to go by. I’m asking $70 a sheet.

Edit These sheets are brand new on their original pallet covered in cardboard.

EDIT I took a piece to my uncles machine shop and measured it with one of his micrometers and it said .0395"

$70 X 35 = $2450

I could ask my father if he would like a few sheets.

Would be fun to make a 280ft aluminum canoe though

I’m not sure how much I am looking for. I guess I need to find out the actual thickness. Make an offer.

There is a guy on Craigslist that was selling 4’ x8’ steel tables with expanded steel tops.

I’m not sure what to offer to be honest. But I could def use some. Someone offered to sell me a slightly smaller sheet of 18ga for $50. But they are in the Rochester area.

Would you take $60 for one? (20 ga) I’m not trying to lowball, but it sounds like you are just getting rid of them.

or if you don’t order 35… As my other post said I’m sure they can be had for cheaper it was just one place I called and that’s what they said. I know having an account can make a difference but how much I have no idea. I am looking for decent offers. I’m not looking to sell them for what they cost.
