I’m selling my '71 Mercedes 220. It’s an automatic, 4 cyl. gas, 4 door. I bought it last year from an older guy, and I never did anything with it. I drove it from Buffalo and haven’t touched it since. It needs a tuneup basically, it sat in a garage for several years and was only started once in a while. Probably some carb work, etc. The transmission and tires have about 150 miles on them! The interior is excellent, blue vinyl, no cracks on the dash or seats, nice headliner, un-cracked steering wheel, and it has an original AM/FM Becker radio that works great. The body looks good, nice chrome, paint is fair (baby blue). There is some rust on the floors that should be taken care of. This wouldn’t take much to be a sweet daily driver for someone, and it should net pretty decent fuel economy. For those who aren’t familiar with these cars, they’re surprisingly easy to work on. I’m asking $1100. -Sean
very cool dude and very nice car. go over to his house to check this out, and if you dont like it, you can look at his other mercedes, or possibly his bus, or maybe his beetle.
lol glws sak, put that thing up on ebay
that is sexy, i am interested
why do I have no money… if I had money I’d e all over 1/2 the cars on this forum…
awesome car for the $$… good luck Sak!
UPDATE-$800 takes this! It’s getting parted in a few days if no one wants it, which is a shame, but I’m losing my storage spot and I have no time to deal with it! It’s currently not running, still needs the carb messed with. Fix it up for the sweetest RWD winter beater ever, or start a winter project. Save this car!!
wow this thing is sweet, let me see if my dad wants to take it on as a project, where is it located?
why dont you just fix it, put a new carb on it and Im sure it will sell. Non running cars dont sell for much. This thing is cool, I would think about buying if it I knew I could get it running for not too much cash.
i offer 200 non running and 700 running.
worked on a 69’ very easy except for carb…odd rebuild. bump for a nice car
I’m not good with carbs, which would mean I’d have to tow it somewhere and pay someone to fix it. I’m just need it gone, I have way too many old project cars. I’m in Hamburg, the car is in West Falls (near East Aurora).
Last chance bump. I’ve been holding the car for someone in CT who has stopped returning my calls, and now I have to part it or sell it withing a week. $700! Someone must need a project. If someone wants to mess with it on site to get it running, or even take it somewhere to look it over, thats fine too.
pretty pimp benz right there
christ why is this still for sale?!?!
if i didnt pick up the e30 i would be all over this…
that car is sweet
if it were black on black i would have bought it in a second
that would be hot. i’d tint it and get some huge monoblocks
It’s days are numbered, it will soon become a source of parts for about 30 other cars.
How much as it is ?
