Hey there guys,

I have my 89 parts car that has to go due to financial situations that are out of my control. A little back ground on the vehicle. I bought it roughly three years ago and was a very storng runner I used it to commute back and forth from scarborough to guelph on a daily basis. I have since then bought a newer one at the end of last summer therefore it has been sitting for the last umpteen months in outside storage. The actual body on the car is pretty much pooched but there is way to much on it that can be salvaged. As i am working way to many hours at the moment i do not have the time or resources to use it for what it was intended. To be honest I was going to tack the hatch, suspension and tranny and five speed as my new one is an automatic :cry: .

Anyways here are the details

The car as it sits is a 89 grey fastback with around 220,000 k on it. Engine wise it had a new alternator and starter installed on it however the timing chain is rattling like a bag of popcorn popping until warmed up. There is no seatbelts as I sold them to bing and the exhaust is missing as i used it for my car. OTher than the belts and exhaust oh and battery it is coomplete.

Here is the good I had kyb gr2’s installed on it roughly three or four months before it was takin of the road. The gr2’s are helled up by eibach prokit springs. The hatch is mint on it I was going to use it on mine however it all has to go. Doors are mint along with the hood. The car is still drivable however louder than shit.

Anywasy I figure I will let it go for 600 or best offer. I will not part it as i have no time We all know that there is more than 600 in parts on this the suspension alone cost me 800. Therefor anyone looking for suspension this would be an ideal purchase. Buy the car take the suspension and you could easily get the extra balance in parts.

If i’m not mistaken this car is over ten yrs old so i wouldnt be pulled over for not having a cat converter?

yes you would if it came from the factory with one it HAS to have one

theres nothing really special i dont think you would make much only on the suspension and most ppl are cheap these days i was gunna getting the car with intention of repair and re-sell, i’de hate to see another 240 be scrapped because of rust when i can repair it.

Is the frame in good shape? and you say the car runs but is loud as hell, what is causing it to be loud? and can it be fixed.
