the bad :
-shock towers has little rust
-frame is in good condition, flooded it with rust proofing to prevent rust
-driver side frame has a kink on it cause previous owner lifts it from there all the time
-rust bubble on passenger super hicas logo(no hole)
-rust under driver side mirror (very small)
-Speedo doesnt work, but will fix if really is a big problem (need to swap the speedo)
-fenders need clear coat, as previous fenders had rust, and replaced with good ones, and repainted, but no clear.
-exhaust leak before cat, very small putt sound.
Price :
-Car is now $2500 FIRM as is with Zenki front lip, side skirts, rear valence and a set of tear drops for free!!!
-Car will be sold fully detailed in and out, engine shampoo, another layer of rust proof all around.
it really is just to prevent rust. underneath, there was surface rust on the rear hicas sway bar, rust starting on the gas tank strap, rear mudflap area had rust, thats why the valence is there. subframe is in great condition. rear frame is in good condition too. so i drenched the underbody with rust proofing to prevent any more crap to come up.
like i said, the driver side frame has a kink cuase of the previous owner, i lifted it once on that frame, and it doesnt crack or anything. so its still solid. just dented a bit. the passenger side is in great condition…has rocker guard spray, ashphalt spray and dealer rust proof stuff (i think they’re almst the same) thast why it looks chunky, also, when i ever have a chance, i lift the car on the hoist and spray the underbody with water to get all the salt off, then rust proof again (i’m nuts, but its free for me).
the only spot that i would be worried is the front driver side toe hook, it had rust, and is broken. either than that, theres nothing to hide.
new price, $2500 as is with side skirts, front lip, rear valence and a set of teardrops…remember this thing got the VLSD greddy diff cover, it has fins everywhere. this is big money and its going with the car. come on guys, need this thing gone.
i saw this car and he forgot to mention that the frame has 2 holes on the frame and the left shock tower was bondoled really bad. im a mechanic and i know that the car should not be driven till it is fixed because thouse 2 holes in the frame which are located below the driver and the passanger are just about to go. i dont mean to be an ass but i am just warning any buyers that you would have to put more money on body work then u think. i saw the car also…I am 18 but i’m not a mechanic…The car was very beautiful and he was a good guy…I showed up to the agreed location on the wrong date and he still droped what he was doing and met up with me. The frame rails, are damaged but it is fixable, for a affordable price. The engine sounded nicer then any ka24de I have heard…it was very clean…I could tell he took pride in his car. The deal was a trade, but he had another deal so ours didn’t go through. Goodluck with the sale;)
he took this car into the shop i work at and my boss said he would safety it when the time came and the car would pass no problems. and if he says its safe im sure it is. Besides if it wasn’t i wouldn’t have even been inside it. But it is so I was. And trust me if I had this money and I didn’t own mine I wouldn’t think twice about buying it. All around awesome car.
