FS: 98 Roush Nascar F150, 70k Miles, Nice.

Hey Guys,

I’m taking reasonable offers on it.

Pretty clean truck, no problems, i’m just looking at an awd subaru instead.

See a picture of it here…

1998 Roush Nascar Edition F150
70k Miles on it
4.6L V8, 4r70w Automatic, 2wd.
3.73 Gears From the Factory
Roush Suspension Package (Lowered 4 inches in the front)
Roush Exhaust Tips
Nascar Edition Embroidery on the Seat Headrests from the factory.
Roush Embroidered Floormats
Nascar SVO Drop in Bedliner
Ford Grey Soft Tonneau Cover installed Last Fall
Legal Tint in the front, and 5 percent across the rear sliding window.
OEM Ford Hood Bug Guard Installed.
Black Nascar Edition Wheels with Newer Firestone Rubber.

Compustar Alarm System installed, with custom door lock actuators, so the truck has keyless entry, an alarm, and remote start, and the alarm has all kinds of bells and whistles on it.

Nice sounding stereo system also. New 06 eclipse headunit, soundstream amp, soundstream 5.25 (one is buzzing, might be blown, but easy to replace)

The alarm and amp were pro installed by funkylemons (tom), he did a killer job as usual.

New Tuneup, plugs, wires, pcv, new motorcraft fuel filter, new o2 sensors. New 255 series Firestone Destination LE Tires were installed last fall, they are still pretty much new. Had new motorcraft shocks put on it, new brake rotors, ceramic pads. Checked the rear drums, they are fine.

All 60k Scheduled Maintenance is done. I just put new brake pads on the front, and resurfaced the factory rotors, the front wheel bearings were just repacked, and the rear diff fluid was changed with Royal Purple Fluid. The truck gets motorcraft oil filters, and either Mobil1, or Mobil5000 motor oil every 5k miles.

Last winter the power steering system was flushed, and the transmission fluid was changed with a new filter installed (merconV, and motorcraft filter). I installed a transmission cooler also. The coolant was also flushed.

I keep the truck pretty clean, and use zaino polishes on it.

Truck is a daily driver, has some scuffs, swirls, scrapes, etc. No rust except on the bottom of the doors, i was going to put new doors on it, but i’ll just sell it. Its not a big deal.

I will have the entire thing professionally detailed before it is picked up.

Thanks,
Justin

asking price??

It sold on ebay two times in a row for 8200 then 8500 bucks, both times the bidder backed out for various reasons.

I’d like to be around there, no less than 8k though.

NADA has a stupid high book on this truck its a collectors thing or something.

But since i drive it daily and don’t let it sit, that inflated price doesn’t much apply.
