Figured I would post the car here. Selling for a friend, It’s on CL as well, but theres a bunch of flakers there. Heres the info from the ad :
Up for sale is my Chrysler JX Convertible. Its got roughly 150k miles. Its got a few issues that would need to be fixed but I just bought the replacement parts, I repeat, I HAVE NEW PARTS TO REPAIR MOST OF THE ISSUES.
Here’s a list of the issues:
Convertible top needs to be replaced in the near future (theres a tear in the seam of the back window)
Ball joint need to be replaced (Have NEW)
Brakes need to be replaced (Have NEW)
trunk strut needs to be replaced (Have BOTH NEW) already done
Battery needs to be replaced (Have NEW)
Tires in the front need to be replaced
It’s got some surface rust in about 2 or 3 places, could be easily fixed.
The tranny cooler like formed a bit of a leak also… I drove it 20 miles, parked it, then it started to leak.
I also have NEW are new Premium plugs/wires/cap/rotor, new air and oil filter.

The sunroof DOES work flawlessly. The back window seam is just not glued to the window anymore, due to it mainly sitting for a few months.

Is it driveable enough to get it to my house (exit 11) and work on it?
only thing that would be an issue is the transmission cooler line, but I’m pretty sure its either a simple fix or it could be temp. fixed enough to drive up there. I drove it 25 minutes in its current state to the apartment. Its not going to be a fun drive, but it will make it.
