Ok here’s the deal the motor is out of my old turbo civic, the car has been parted out after deciding to move on to bigger and better things and this is what i have left.
b16a3, block notched for turbo, stock bottom end somewhere near 100K
now here’s the good part. I just got the head back from A1 machine shop, it was resurfaced, hot tanked, and got a multi angle valve job. While it was there i had new OEM honda valve stem seals installed (i brought them the parts so i KNOW there are OEM honda) they also installed the Crower springs and retainers. I brought the head home, installed it, put it in time and adjusted the valves. Fired it up and moved it out of the garage about 15 feet to where the car sat for a couple months until i parted it out. This head is as close to brand new as a used head can get. it was NOT milled down any considerable amount so your compression figures will not change from stock.
The parts included on the b16 are
Skunk2 throttle body
Skunk2 intake manifold
Crower Stage 2 street/strip cams
Crower springs and retainers
Golden eagle adjustable cam gears
ATI crank pulley
ARP head studs-new
OEM Honda top end gasket kit
Greddy timing belt-new
new water pump
of course all sensors are attached and in working order.
I’m looking to get in the neighborhood of 1400, but a reasonable offer won’t be turned down. If i get 1400 i will also include a b18a1 short block, the only problem with it was minor oil consumption and has about 175K on it, would be a perfect starting point for a built bottom end to put the b16 head on.
I also have a p28 ecu chipped with Cromepro and has a map currently on it for 1000cc injectors but can be reburned to any map you like at a competent tuner.
the only pictures of it i really have are from when it was in the car. but here they are.
ARP studs, while the head was off the deck surface was checked with a straightedge and was within .002"
