Is that the official HKS shift pattern? Because I’ve driven 3 different 6 speeds, that have 3 different patterns, and none are like that one, so I’m willing to bet there’s atleast 4 if not more variations.
I’ve driven:
1 3 5
2 4 6
And you have to push down on first gear to engage reverse
1 3 5
2 4 6 R
Where reverse is just further out than the rest of them.
And finally, the G/350Z:
1 3 5
2 4 6
Where you push down on 6th to engage reverse.
Try pushing down on 1st and 6th, it may be a 6 spd after all.
i don’t know where you buy your parts from but that is the biggest load of crap i have ever heard…
however this is an AWESOME deal indeed, too bad i am not sr20
actually you can use that clutch even if u are ca, it just requires u use an s12 starter it’s all pretty interesting theres a guide on how to do this… cheap way to get twin plates, possible chance of starter gear whine from them not matching up perfect if you do it tho
