FS: car audio stuff

Ok, Lacville, Tom told me you wanted specs on the subwoofer. Well, It has dual 1 ohm VC’s – It was rated @ 800wRMS for warranty purposes. It took over 4700wRMS without a single problem, though :P. It is an HC series sub (high current), but it was hand assembled by an insider that I know (Dave). The company was sold to a mainstream place, so it went to hell a couple years later… they started mass producing crap in other countries.

This is the real deal. It has a convex dust cap that is so strong you can stand on it… really. The spider and surround are very tight. Excursion is very high as well. I cannot remember exact specs, but its very good.

;D sweet thanks, if you can remember any other info, feel free to post it.

lol sorry, dual 2ohm… i went 'tarded for a min.

how did you keep this in the box? i cranked it up and it ripped a few of the 2" drywall screws out :ohnoes

Rofl. I never had a problem with it! I actually at one point had 5kW RMS going to it. I always had the sub laying flat though, this could make a major difference. Lmao, put some bigger screws in… otherwise you are going to have to put studs in the box :stuck_out_tongue:

yeah i got it laying flat, i might have to bolt it in, carriage bolts maybe.
