How does this work…? I never quite understood. Is it a Recirc valve AND a Blow Off valve?
Essentially yes. A blow off valve releases 100% of excess air from the discharge of the turbo to prevent compressor surge. In a car that meters air, it messes up the fuel calculation by losing the air it has already accounted for. This only releases like 17% of the excess air, and sends the rest back to the intake. It doesn’t hardly affect the ECU but because of the horn and oriface design gives you the psshhhhhh noise that you want.
So when do you want to pick it up?
