FS/FT: 02 Civic SI with JDM K20A Type R conversion

I have come to a crossroads with my EP. My EP is a fantastic car. It satisfies all of my needs. It handles great, it is fast, it is stylish, and it is very easy to work on. When I first got into import cars my ultimate goal was to have an AWD turbo car. No matter what I do to the EP it will never be an AWD turbo car. I have done all that I can to the EP and it is in my opinion one of the nicest EP’s on the east coast but, it still does not satisfy my needs (AWD Turbo). Therefore I have decided to sell my EP.

For those of you who don’t know me I am a very anal and meticulous person. Many people in the local car scene make fun of me because of how crazy I am when it comes to keeping my car pristine and like new. I have owned the car since 04 and it has never seen a winter and rarely sees rain. The paint on this car is beyond incredible. When the front of the car started to chip up from rocks and bugs, I had the car painted (over last winter) and let it sit for 2 months to allow the paint to fully dry before I drove it. I paid $4000 for the paint job and it shows. There is hardly any orange peal and always has that wet look. I wax and polish (Meguiars) the paint once a month and quick detail it on a daily basis. For those of you who have seen my car you can attest that it is probably one of the nicest black cars you have ever seen. It is at show car quality and has absolutely no imperfections, dents, scratches or blemishes.

The mechanics of the car also reflect my belief in perfection. Every part of this car was assembled with quality craftsmanship. Everything has been built to its fullest potential and performs as well as it looks.

My intention when I put this car together was to track it however it ended up being so nice that I couldn’t bare to see anything happen to it. It has therefore spent most of its life as a garage queen.

Some may think that my asking price for the car is a bit excessive however to replicate this particular setup would cost much more than my asking price. I have record of every item that was installed on this car and I have well over $25,000 invested. The chassis of the car has 64000 mi however almost every component on the car has either been replaced or rebuilt, not to mention the new paint. All suspension bushings, ball joints, and tie rod ends have been replaced as a precaution. The K20A motor was just purchased in August from H-Motors online and has approximately 25k miles. The motor runs very strong and my tuner Jeff Evans says it is a factory freak that produced way more HP than typical Type R motors. The LSD tranny shifts awesome and has no grinds.

I am willing to sell the EP as is for $20,000 FIRM. I have calculated that If I part the car out I can make much more than my asking price so that price of $20,000 is FIRM. I am however willing to negotiable with respect to what items will come with the car or if someone wants to trade. As I stated above I am looking for something AWD Turbo. That means WRX STI or EVO.

Please Email me at letitroll87@verizon.net if you are interested or call me on my cell phone at (716) 400-7669. I am located in Buffalo, NY and am willing to sell the car to anyone, local or not. Arrangements can always be made.

The car passes inspection. Although it is a JDM motor the ECU is from the stock k20a3. The map on the ECU however thanks to Hondata KPRO is for the K20A.

I’ve decided not to go awd turbo… I’m going to buy back and restore the Slamry. :violin::cry::picard:

But on a serious note It is a win win situation with either an Evo or an STI. I personally would prefer an STI but, the EVO prices are better.

STI > * , sorry i think this thread is partially my fault for letting you drive the STI lol
