I picked up a 93 hatch out of the US with a good running and driving blacktop SR as a project.
However, i need to get a better / newer car for work that is more suitable for driving people around as i am about to get a serious promotion… at least a kouki S14 or a G35.
The car is not perfect, but there are pluses:
The good:
Blacktop SR20DET - Comp tested out at 145 - 150
new stage 3 clutch (unknown brand but it feels good)
3" catback
F&R strut bars
hatch is rust free even with spoiler
Pioneer CD player
boost gauge
nismo oil cap (SIIIQQ)
runs very well, idles properly etc.
new rear rotors
rear calipers fixed
new hardlines from front to back FRAME PATCHED (BOTH RAILS)
the bad:
there are areas of typical rust in the usual spots… nothing OMG major
rockers, rear lower quarters etc.
Auto seat belts (i have manual ones if you want)
power steering belt needs to be tightened, this should be fixed in time.
i was going to have the rust cut out, sealed, and coverd with skirts and rear aero and track rat the thing… but i dont have time with the new house, baby and promotion anymore

the car is properly imported, registered in my name as UNFIT, so you cannot temp it…
i have 16" 3-piece wheels with 225/50/16 tires and i am also willing to throw in full aero as i have 180sx rear valances, 180sx sides and the Bings lip that i was going to put on it as well.
I am realistic about what the car is worth and that is why i would prefer to trade + cash rather than sell.

sinice i was getting some questions about them… these areh the wheels… i do not know the width and offset, they are not marked. however, there are Dunlop Sport D40’s on them in 225/50/16 and considering the sidewall i would expect these to be a 16 x 7 with a mid to high offet… like a +35 or something… so not too aggressive, but with a small spacer on a 4 lug car they will look pretty decent.
i have had people view the car and i am in the advanced stages of trades + cash with at least one person.
the frame rails are now patched up.
we did find a hole in the floor under the gas pedal. I am not changing my price for this because fixing holes is not a big deal on these cars, if an interested party wants to have it addressed it is possible to work that out.
we also found that the car has a custom 3" downpipe and a 3" testpipe and that the frame rail above the muffler is quite solid…
so some good findings and some bad.
i have sold the Megan coilovers, but if anyone is still interested and needs coilovers i can supply these at a lower cost than the megans were:
i transfered the car into my name over the weekend in anticipation of the pending deal so it’s ready to go.
talking with some guys about cash too.
i just looked at G35’s M6 coupes in trader… $225 bi-weekly… come on…
i need to buy a car worth tracking at Watkins Glen in 3 weeks, this thing has to go asap so that i have time to put some Stance coilovers on whatever i buy.
