Hey my buddy is trying to sell his Hewlett Packard Desktop. He bought it new from Best Buy for $1400 back in November 2007.
Specs (he typed this below):
What I have for sale is an 8-month-old , purchased at Best Buy for $1,400.00 in November 2007 (currently still available at several online retailers for $1,700.00!) , briefly used but in excellent condition , Hewlett Packard Pavilion Elite M9040n Desktop Personal Computer - everything is clean , and the computer was operated in a smoke-free environment / computer room . The tower, case, and keyboard are in excellent condition with no damage , essentially in factory-fresh condition with the exception of the purchase date “Nov.2007” written in permanent black magic marker on the front-right-side of the tower case - visible in the photograph of the tower interior. This is a very powerful , high-end machine with tremendous processing speed via a Intel Q6600 Quad Core 2 2.4Ghz processor , as well as excellent supporting components - Three Gigabytes of RAM , 640 GIGABYTES of storage space via two 320 Gigabyte Hard Drives , an NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS 3D Graphics Accelerator Card for gaming , Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g capability , Cable Modem / Ethernet jack , tower front mounted microphone and headphone jacks , audio inputs , a 1394 Port , and two USB ports - two additional USB ports are on the rear of the tower - plus a DVD / CD Lightscribe DVD / CD player and burner , a 15-In-1 card reader and TV Remote Infrared Receiver , and Built-In TV Tuner . In addition, a Hewlett Packard w1907 19 Inch Flatscreen Widescreen Monitor and a Wireless Keyboard and Mouse are included. All original setup diagrams and computer operation instruction manuals are included, as well as a CD containing driver software for the w1907 monitor, and two DVD-R’s with the factory setup re-install software - the computer did not come with discs, you have to use blank DVD-R media and burn them yourself using a program bundled with the computer. The previous installation of Windows Vista has been completely deleted , and the (burned on two DVD-R’s using the official factory setup program) HP re-installation discs have been installed to set up an as-factory-fresh Windows Vista Home Premium installation . No updates have been downloaded, and all programs are as-bundled with the machine. Do with the OS what you will, you will receive it EXACTLY as I purchased it. Overall a complete package - a ready to use power PC with all of the components you need for immediate setup in your home or office.
He’s asking $1,000.00 or best offer, if you’re interested let me know and I’ll give you his contact info.
He lives in Cohoes and pickup or local delivery would be free, otherwise shipping would be $45.00 to any distant location by USPS Parcel Post.
