iPads are awesome! I just bought my wife an iPad 2 for her birthday. IMO an iPad us way more useful. We like the face time app which allows you to do a video call in real time. There is virtually no delay in it. You can also watch movies and of course upload your iTunes to it. We pretty much use the iPad as our computer now.
