Panasonic SA-TH900 Home theater in a box
Fantastic system, unbelieveably easy set up. The movies really come to life with this systm, the bass reproduction is great, highs are sweet and crisp. I’ve loved this thing while i’ve owned it and am getting rid of it because I need something that takes up less space. (the tower speakers look great, but they take up some room. the towers come apart and you can wall mount the speakers on their own)
The good: perfect visial condition, sounds amazing, several sound modes, more inputs than you typically find on a HTIB. The sub really is great. The amp is housed inside it so its a powered sub rather than the typical passive subs you find in a HTIB
The bad: I guess it has been a common problem with this particular system, but there is an occational (once every few days or so) popping of the amplifier followed by 1-10sec of silence. I have only ever experienced this when the system has been left on for long periods of time (>5hrs) so extended movie viewing may exasperate it. I have never had it happen with music (radio/cd) playing, ie at a party. It is a very minor annoyance more than a problem with the system.
at a glance:
5 disc CD/DVD changer
800 watts RMS of power
1 center speaker
2 tower front speakers
2 tower surround speakers
1 powered subwoofer
instructions included
Dolby digital, DTS, Dolby surround II (for movies and music)
so so much to list, here is a link to all technical specs:
