FS: Parting(?) 1998 S70 (non-Turbo), Silver, Rebuildable- Buffalo, NY

~100k miles, car was perfect before front end collision. Declared a total by insurance company because of the air bag deployment. It was a light hit though. Engine still runs perfectly. Car is beautiful from the “A”-Pillars to the rear. Originally from Ohio (no Salt). Meticuliously maintained by a Volvo Enhusiast (check my signature!), Mobil 1 w/Mann filters every 4k miles for the 4 years that I had the car. Automatic transmission shifts perfectly through all gears and modes (Sport/Economy/Winter). Has ABS/Tracs. Slight wear on Drivers seat bolster (typical). Interior is very good condition, dark Gray leather. Both heated seats work flawlessly.

  • Timing belt recently replaced.
  • New ipd Vacuum elbows installed. I’m not looking to get rich off of this car, but instead would like to help out fellow Volvo enthusiasts by offering good parts at cheap prices. (I believe in Karma.) If you don’t see the part you need please ask, nearly everything is up for sale. I’m just trying to make the best of a bad situation. The car gave her life to protect my wife & kids when an idiot in a honda lost control, crossed the double yellow and struck her head on, in a snowstorm. These cars are built! You should see how that honda looked!! LOL.

I asked on DITB

I doubt you’ll want to seperate to much dumb stuff but I need, Engine cover (plastic that covers the sparkplugs and says VOLVO), and the driver door stay (stupid little peace of metel that holds the door out when you push it out)

so if you do Ill give you 20 and come pull it off the car.

how much for the whole car? i might be interest.

So it has a salvage title now?
if it has a clean title i’ll pick up the whole car let me know thanks

what he said, how much for the whole car?

vouch for a solid guy. Chris knows his volvos

Clean title. Come by and make offer. PM me for addy. I may want to keep the wheels for my winter tires, not sure. I possibly have buyers for the seats, CAT, some trim, but I still can sell it whole. I’m thinking around $1200, I’m flexible depending on what I can keep…
There’s a guy I found in NJ with replacement parts (in silver) that are cheap. It would be an easy fix. My wife has been driving our 97 T5 wagon and is addicted to the speed! She wants to replace this car with a T5 sedan. So out it goes.
