and I dont know how to take if off
does anyone know that a 93 hatchbakc SE has a VLSD or not??

I assume 100 bucks if it has, and you have to come get it. :wink:

as far as I know, if it’s a Canadian model and it’s a 91+, it will have an VLSD.

91+ in Canada = VLSD for SURE.

Unless someone stole it and swapped it for an open diff without you knowing.

rims are not for sale right now. they are in mint condition
they are going to be ava… about 1-2 months later. I lend them to my friends.
you can make an offer now to see if I can get them soon.

well, I bought the car when it has 160k on it.
I carfax it before I boutht it, it looks like it has 9 owners before, lol, and for the first time, it was in Alberta…lol.

so I dont know if anyone changed it before I bought it.

and BTW, how can I know if it has VLSD or not? does it make difference when you just drive daily.

VLSD check:

clutch in in first.
rev to 6k
peal off like hell.
stop the car, get out.
check the tire marks left behind.

VLSD: you’ll leave two trails of tire (one from each wheel)

No LSD: you’ll leave behind one trail (from the wheel which all/most of the torque is transferred to)

take it out and rip it apart?? It’s supposed to have a VLSD, if it is still there or not is beyond us…
