1996 Honda Civic EX Coupe 5 speed. 2000$ Clean Title

I am selling my civic, I have no need for it anymore. It has been in my family all its life since 1996. My mom drove it till 2 years ago when I started to drive it. I only stepped on it maybe two or three times and it was obviously disappointing. The tires are cheap ones I don’t know off hand what ones but they have a lot of life left.

-The good - Never beat on, My mom is 50ish and drove it normally everyday. It was my daily, I drove it normally everyday. The paint is in excellent shape. Sunroof works no leeks. Bone stock passes inspections. The timing belt was done about 2000 miles ago.

-The bad - hubcaps a little scratched. 3 dents on the drivers side fender. The rear bumber cover is missing 1/3 of the driver side. Also some other various dime sized dents maybe three, who knows what from. The driver side door needs a new window switch. Tear in the driver seat in the crack. Some cigarette burn holes (3 or 4). Less then dime size rust on the normal quarter spots. Not rusted through. Oh yeah, The air con does not work you just need a new compressor.

Exterior - Forest green metallic 5/10, If the damage was fixed 8/10

Interior - 6/10 grey

Motor - 120,000ish miles, runs strong and normal. Could use tune up and oil change.

Transmission - Grinds 1st to second only at high rpms and sometimes going into reverse. Otherwise it shifts fine.

Clutch - Grabs fine feels like it has plenty of life was changed around 60 thousand miles

Brakes - done within last thousand miles.

Timing belt done around 2 thousand ago

I am asking 2000 because of the various problems. I will not budge on my price at all do not offer me anything less. This is as low as it goes. First with 2000 gets it. I am located between Sheridan and Maple 3 blocks from Transit.

I hope those pics somewhat worked I just used shitty image shack to host them real quick and them up. The pics were taken with my phone I need new batteries for the kodak. That is the only real damage besides dents is that back bumper. Interior pics tomorrow.

2g Is not steep at all, This car is mechanically sound with brakes and brake lines that have less than 500 miles on them. You could drive this across the country. The drivers side window doesn’t roll down because of the window switch and the back bumper is damaged. The paint looks really good and it has some dents that an almost 13 year old dd would. The back seats are 9/10 and so is the passenger seat. The driver side has a small crack in the seam. It has never ever been modded in anyway and runs flawless always starts and has been in my family since the start. I have all the maitenence records too. 2g is nothing for a car with 100,000 miles left at least. The cv joints were done, clutch was done, timing belt gasket done. All the hard expensive stuff has been done. The little things wrong are not a big deal and are easy fixes.

1000 dollars is not going to get this car, low balling that bad just makes you look poor. I am in no hurry to sell it I can wait. Decent offers will be considered but I am not letting this go for 1000 dollars no matter what I would rather run through buffalo naked till I get on t.v.

it wasnt me offering, By the way, a car with half a bumper makes you look poor, not offering 1000$ for a car with half a bumper. its not like it fell off, it was hit so basically your selling a wrecked civic and complaining about the first and only offer you’ve got.

Its hard fetching blue book for a car thats 13 years old, good luck with the sale

2000 isnt too bad, but if I were you clinzee id fix that bumper and the window switch and sell it for more. You have nothing but more money to gain from that.A bumper is what 50 bucks if that, at a junkyard.

Ya I know it is cheap but I’m just done with the car, All those things recently fixed were a pain in the ass to do. Someone has offered me a trade that I’m probably gonna accept, it will go nicely with my teg.

EDIT:Can a MOD take out all the low ball posts that have nothing to do with my thread. I asked for questions to be posted in the thread or pmed and offers to be pmed. I will post up interior shots tonight.
