FS: Soundcraft SEck II 18 channel Mixer

one of the highest quality boards ever made.

for those of you who dont know

soundcraft was bought by mackie

and mackie modeled all thier boards from them.

18 channels tapeswitchable to 32

works fine, i just got out of home recording

ill take 400 / best offer for it.

i payed 1500 when i bought it used 3 years ago, used it like twice.

Everything works, this board has some of the best pre’s its top of the line.

Perfect for your band.

its an older Seck board the good ones

I am all for non-bashing FS threads, but please do not lie to the possible consumer. Soundcraft and mackie are both mediocre at best. very far from “highest quality boards ever made”

Sorry, I’m a sound engineer and just gotta point out the facts.

I dunno man, for an anolog board, whut do you reccomend?, thanks for the heads up.
ive heard few better then a soundcraft SeckII

Besides digital stations

pics please…

Lets start with your definition of “sounds better”?

This field does have lots of personal prefrence, but lets start with what other stuff you have “heard” from to compare?

As you know, a board is just a place to mix sounds (we are talking home recording?) what you hear is a result of how well you can mix. A very good engineer can take a shitty board and make it sound great, and it has nothing to do with the board. If your talking about actual quality, like vintage sounding boards. I have an 1970’s yamaha board that is just fantastic, and I am a big fan of vintage sound. PM me with some of the stuff youve recorded, id love to hear it

possibly this weekend, its in secure storage.

ill go grab a pic this weekend, saturday probably and get it uploaded.

Yeah the vintage boards are the best board,s this board was made some time ago, but i doubt in the 70s potentially 80s tho

i dont know the history, i bought it from a guy with a Deathmetal band who has like 100k into his studio, the band is called cursed-x

Well in the future, please dont sell “the highest quality” stuff if you just admit you dont know anything about it. An honest sale will be much better than a cheap sale

i said one of the highest qualitys, as i was under the impression it was… my bad,… its not Crap.

its still better then 85% of analog boards i have heard.

ive got an lto board that i consider to be a pretty cheap / crappy board.
