2 reasons:

1. Because it was hard enough imagining some fggt in another state driving my pride and joy, but it would be even HARDER to SEE some shitty NYSPEEDER driving my car.

2. I don’t want to still have to work on the car, touch the car, answer questions about the car. I know if i sold it locally, that would happen.
