Game Over (Game On?) for Financial Markets?

i only have 3k in because i took it all out before i went on vaca and i havent had a down day since i got back to buy in. I dont buy in on up days. Getting beaten up mainly on BWLD, OIL, and BAC.

Oh yea I wouldnt buy in right now either since I dont believe we have broken a range. Although I do have it set in at 9600-9800 as the marker that range is broken and I would buy if we see that. I think this week is going to be somewhat wild im kinda baffled by today.

OIL hovering just above a 52 week low…

BUMP.
This wild rangebound chop is giving daytraders sick volatility and their massive liquidity has kept things stuck here for about 16 weeks now. 8000-9000 is the closing range, 1000 freekin points back and forth!!! There are certainly long term participants in the mix and the next move will likley be very telling and hopefully will provide a clean trend for the investors and swing traders to follow. Anyone not daytrading here is playing with fire. I’m leaning towards a bear rally just based on how hyperextended the price action is from the ma’s and a few other things I track. But bias means nothing and I’m waiting for a trend to show itself. I do daytrade the YM (dow mini) from time to time but the volatility is whiptastic and I limit my exposure bigtime.

Good luck traders/investors.

Error 404… Martial Law Not Found

Guess technically it’s still February 09 until 02/28 23:59:59 though…

+1 on the wedge down. We might whip saw after breaking 7500. I am just wondering how bad may will be. Lately I ahve been trading forex and like it alot better until the market really turns. USD/JPY Tight range and low volitilty are a big plus. Just keep your stops tight. Who do you trade futures through?

Akuma.

Infinity AT and I use Think or Swim for charts.
I love the executions through Infinity, they come highly recommended.

I dunno, California recently stopped paying food stamps, I could see martial law there prtty soon.

Oh, they are also sending out IOU’s for tax refunds because they have no money.

^Don’t worry, there will be free government food in grocery stores soon enough.
Maybe that is why Jubilee has half empty shelves, they are making room for government food.

Tax refund checks, plus money to help the blind and disabled pay rent and groceries are also being withheld at the moment.

Honestly, how long does NYSPEED think this can go on before something happens? Will the fed’s assist with emergency funding? I don’t see how they will refuse to when people are hungry, getting thrown out of their apartments and kicked out of college.

Stopping payment in a state that has a history of rioting can’t be good.
Like I said in the other thread though, hungry people are easier to rule over.

This part is great…
“Simply put, the state is running out of money. Controller John Chiang is legally obligated to fund the schools and pay debt service first,…”
You gotta love CA.
“I’m sorry you can’t eat because we have to pay for Hector’s art classes. I know he is here illegally but he needs to learn about art dammit!”

I don’t see anything in the bill for dealing with California’s zombie problem though. Why won’t the government think of the children?!?!

My 8 ball is a bit fuzzy ask again later :stuck_out_tongue:

The defense department has a plan for CA. That same top secret weapon we used to trigger the earthquake in China that killed 80k people will be used to cause CA to simply fall off into the ocean. I just hope they do it on a day that Nancy Pelosi is there. If she’s there having lunch with Harry Reid, even better!

This is the doomsday/conspiracy theory/foil hat thread right?

I do think it’s a shame that the financial instutions/auto makers are getting bailouts but people that need food stamps can’t get them honored. Something about that doesn’t seem right to me.

Can’t we just suck LA/San Fran into a sand trap? There are some nice beaches there that it would be a shame to lose.

For San Fran it would be known as a glory hole.
