With CA gone there will be nice beaches in AZ and NV.
Keep the eastern half of CA. Losing Lake Tahoe and Yosemite would be bad.

We have a plan to fix CA’s budget. All it took was a liberal, a conservative, and a Blue Eyed Devil. (You get your own category.)
I am honored. lol
lol I wanted to say libertarian but I don’t know what that is.
JayS would actually like San Diego, it’s all Republicans. I couldn’t believe it, I thought cali was supposed to be liberal everywhere
Amherst is full of Republicans too, doesn’t mean it’s real fun when everywhere around you is leaning left.
Yes but Republicans in Amherst aren’t all tan 5’10 blondes with fake tits
There is no such thing as fake, they either exist or they don’t. lol
 :bigclap:
that has nothing to do with all of the people on the system that don’t “need” them, right?
Very interesting legislation being passed by some states.

I could kiss you for the first link. :nohomo: Finally someone posting facts, not spin.
As for the actual legislation, God bless New Hampshire for reminding the Federal Government as to the limit of its power.
Links 2-4 don’t work. Link 5 is a year old. The DC handgun ban was deemed unconstitutional and overturned. Montana doesn’t have to secede.
Sixth link is a no go.
7th link says Washington is joining NH in standing against abuse of federal powers.
8th link doesn’t work either.
I bet the links are fixed by the time I submit this post.
Anyways, my response is that from what I was able to gather from NH’s difficult (for me) to read bill was that they are effectively introducing consequences for violating our constitution? I’m just wondering what’s new, as it seemed to be just restating our constitution.
I hate to keep humping Obama (you guys probably think I’m firmly latched onto his sack by now) but it’s a good time to have swapped Bush and his abuses of power for a former professor of constitutional law. The night the dude joined the US Senate he went home and re-read the entire constitution to remind himself what he’s doing.
That any Act by the Congress of the United States, Executive Order of the President of the United States of America or Judicial Order by the Judicatories of the United States of America which assumes a power not delegated to the government of United States of America by the Constitution for the United States of America and which serves to diminish the liberty of the any of the several States or their citizens shall constitute a nullification of the Constitution for the United States of America by the government of the United States of America. Acts which would cause such a nullification include, but are not limited to:
I. Establishing martial law or a state of emergency within one of the States comprising the United States of America without the consent of the legislature of that State.
II. Requiring involuntary servitude, or governmental service other than a draft during a declared war, or pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.
III. Requiring involuntary servitude or governmental service of persons under the age of 18 other than pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.
IV. Surrendering any power delegated or not delegated to any corporation or foreign government.
V. Any act regarding religion; further limitations on freedom of political speech; or further limitations on freedom of the press.
VI. Further infringements on the right to keep and bear arms including prohibitions of type or quantity of arms or ammunition; and
That should any such act of Congress become law or Executive Order or Judicial Order be put into force, all powers previously delegated to the United States of America by the Constitution for the United States shall revert to the several States individually. Any future government of the United States of America shall require ratification of three quarters of the States seeking to form a government of the United States of America and shall not be binding upon any State not seeking to form such a government; and
That copies of this resolution be transmitted by the house clerk to the President of the United States, each member of the United States Congress, and the presiding officers of each State’s legislature.
Basically says if the gov’t violates the constitution again, they’re going to consider it void and have all powers delegated to the federal gov’t returned to the states.
OK good. That’s what I got out of it too.
One of these things is not like the other. Thoughts?
are you looking for 100 year market trends? lol
No, why would anyone be silly enough to look for long term trends or look at the past price action for levels of support?
Silly me :roll2:
It just seems crazy to me that there would be any substantial trend over that long of a period of time. Especially in an economy that changes so rapidly due to technology and politics.
Thats is obviously just my opinion though.
FWIW, because I can already tell someone is gonna try and pull my gruff on this.
NO, I do NOT think the dow will tank to 4k. Let us not forget that as time progresses on the chart, the trendline continues to climb as well. We could have 15+ years of chop on our hands which would allow the trendline to catch up so to speak. Not unlike what happened from 1960-1982 (ish).
Another thought I wanted some intelligent input on is how the NAZ has broke the trendline down already. So perhaps tech will have further decline as our advancements have peaked for now? Or perhaps one of the others will end up leading the NAZ higher? Just food for thought…for those of us capable of mental hunger and the ability to digest the said food. LOL
Haters need not apply to my soup kitchen.
