garrett t3/t4 turbo 300-400 hp

your opinion is not accurate !

I’d take that $75 and run with it.

I need the $ and its def worth it but u guys got to be dicks. Please delete this topic. it is hard enough to sell good stuff. thanks guys you live up to my opinion on you.

i post because you post false info. the turbo compressor map, doesnt match the turbo. you have no hard facts on the turbo… compile a better list of information, and try again.

neg rep returned.

thats right i didnt know i had the wrong map but to say my turbo is worth a very low amount of $ just because i had the wrong info. i was waiting untill tomorrow to measure it and search for more specs wtf. i know your a mod so why dont you delete this topic now. the turbo was stock on a gnx grand national its really hard to find specs on.

its an old turbo man. and used at that. you do know you can buy brand new precision 50trims (T3/t04E) for ~600$.

300$ is a far fetch for a used turbo, unknown origin, unknown specs, certainly from the 80s with an odd exhaust flange(saab or gm looking) probably wouldnt hurt to have it rebuilt for good measure, or risk it having bad seals or thrust plates soon after use… in the end its going to cost someone close to the cost of a new turbo to run this odd ball old turbo reliably.

Eh, Gotta agree with Brett on this one. 300 seems kinda high for that size turbo ,used. And the wrong compressor maps made it kinda sketch. Sorry …

thats great dont i recall you selling a turbo that was no good and telling people it could easly be fixed but it could not. I think I remember seeing that and i didnt post my neg opinion on your for sale topic. i searched for a map for that turbo for 2 day and thats what i found with the same serial #s. i dont know alot about turbos im still learning i dont know how to read a turbo map or graph yet. i posted it because i thought someone els might know how. that turbo goes for $800 new (i dont think it needs it) BUT even if it did have to be rebuilt it cost $300 for a rebuild. thats 600 for a turbo that you know is good. its not a no name brand and is in good shape.

or you could spend 600 for a brand new one from turbonetics/precision thats not a dinosaur

are you just making that price up?? like i said before. goofy exhaust housing and turbine inlet/outlet isnt gonna help the sale. this forum is mostly T3 turbo users. a few larger T4 frame guys, a few T2 users.

300$ plus rebuild, plus making it fit the specific car, plus this and that… in the end the potential buyer is going to end up just buying a new turbo thats going to bolt right up, no headaches, no guess work.

in this market youve got to meet the customers needs and in order to move this turbo youre going to have to have factual info/specs about it and be flexible, because youre gonna take a beating on the price to sell it. you can go on honda-tech at any given moment and find a GT3076R ready to go with 10-15k on it for 6-700$ because honda guys move parts fast. used Garrett 50trims on there for 3-400 bucks all the time. which depending on the type of bearing(360 thrust or 270*), or exhaust housing(.48/.63 T3, 4 or 5 bolt outlet) go for 650-750$ new

$50?

ill buy that for a dollar!!!

I did not really want to sell it i wanted to use it on my scirocco but i need $ close to my asking price really bad right now so i guess we can say its not for sale now because i could use it rather than give it away. now can some one delete
