gauging interest - MINT S13, Texas car, NO RUST!!!!

Did you guys skip over my post or something?
The RIV states clearly on their admissability list:

“Canadian legislation does not allow modifications to the seatbelt anchorage system.”
“Where a vehicle has been determined by its manufacturer as not meeting Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 210, that vehicle is not eligible for importation into Canada under any circumstances.”

That means, by all logical means, the U.S. 89-94 is inadmissable. Since the RIV is slow to update their list, the 89 still shows. HOWEVER, ALL 240s older than 15 years old (to the build month) ARE admissable. So, starting tomorrow, every 1989 240SX is admissable for import.

Sounds confusing, I know, but it really isn’t.

OK guys, great discussion BUT

i talked to the mechanic, apparently the customer is a friend of his (sorta) and he is kinda shafted with the car. seems like free storage to me.

i dunno if its the cost involved in transfering it over, but it didn’t sound like the tech was interested in selling it. i’ll keep bugging him to sell it, but he really wasn’t interested.

sorry to get u guys excited, the car is flawless and would make a sweet track car, oh, and it DOHC, so i figure production date is after '91 at least.

i’ll keep my eyes out for nice 240’s and keep u guys posted, hopefully i can find another nice one like this.

sorry again

Okay, that was fun.

Locked.
