Did you guys skip over my post or something?
The RIV states clearly on their admissability list:
“Canadian legislation does not allow modifications to the seatbelt anchorage system.”
“Where a vehicle has been determined by its manufacturer as not meeting Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 210, that vehicle is not eligible for importation into Canada under any circumstances.”
That means, by all logical means, the U.S. 89-94 is inadmissable. Since the RIV is slow to update their list, the 89 still shows. HOWEVER, ALL 240s older than 15 years old (to the build month) ARE admissable. So, starting tomorrow, every 1989 240SX is admissable for import.
Sounds confusing, I know, but it really isn’t.
