GE Profile Electric Convection Oven/Microwave

This is an electric convection oven, not just a microwave. AKA the air inside is heated if you use it as an oven, or it will magically zap things if you use it in microwave mode. Nuke popcorn, roast a turkey (it’s big enough), bake a pie, etc.

It’s a GE Profile, meaning GE’s high end line of appliances.

Model JVM1790 bought new and used for a year with every intention of mounting it over the stove. I haven’t yet so I give up and am going to downgrade to a normal microwave to get the counter space back.

Everything works like new. I have all of the manuals, mounting hardware, and other accessories.

This thing retailed for $800 new, but I got it for a steal at $450 when Rosa’s was going out of business. We were going to need a new microwave for our new house and this thing was too bad ass to pass up. Well after using it for almost 2 years on the counter top I’m throwing in the towel and admitting that I’m not going to go to the trouble of mounting it over the stove. My loss is your gain. Looking for $250.

How much with installation over my stove? :stuck_out_tongue:

If you just need to hang it that’s no big deal. My problem was there isn’t room for it over the stove right now so I would either need to cut into the soffet and raise the cabinet or get a new shorter cabinet.

So my solution is to give up the idea of having a double oven setup and just stick a $40 dollar microwave in the corner for popcorn.
