Old Toyota’s will last forever, especially with the 22r in them. They may be high in price, but you can normally find a decent on. Try to stay away from Nissan truck’s/pathfinder’s, the early years had horrible rotting problems.

I remember on an episode of Topgear that I saw online a few years back, they tried to kill an old toyota truck and they did all sorts of crazy stuff to it and it always started or was easily fixed for only a few bucks. Those trucks are tanks and will run forever. The body may fall off, but the engine will keep going.
