and yes the engines do outlast the body’s just liked jeeps. mine has been oil sprayed since new. and i would suggest oil spraying any truck you get regardless.
dodges are not cheap right now for some reason. and the early 90’s dodges suck ass.
chevy and ford seem to be the more reasonably priced trucks right now. jeeps are always expensive. and cramped depending on how tall you are.
any v8 truck should tow a trailer or a car NO PROBLEM. i would stay away from the smaller trucks. as i get about the same gas mileage as a ranger and s10’s on the high way.
and i have more towing power.
what is your price range? i found this summer that there is no such thing as a nice cheap truck. 3500 is probably the lowest i would go on a truck.
just get the good old chev 1500 they are perfect for that shit
Whatever you do dont buy something that will barely pass your towing limit. Not only will you be straining the trans and probably rebuilding it more than you like but driving it will suck. I wouldnt be looking into anything other than diesel. I know most gas trucks can handle the load but diesels are superior for towing. Unless you are dropping a bunch of money on a new truck Id highly recommend finding an old ford or chevy diesel.
