Top of the line graphics, good ram, easily overclockable cpu, great mobo, good psu, awesome case, great cooling on vid card and hsf for cpu. great burner/reader also.
DOES NOT COME WITH MONITOR.
(this is only if your looking to build it yourself. the 8800GT destroys the 8500GT, and the ram, mobo, and psu I listed are way better than the Gateway deal, but the Gateway is a deal, and it does come with a quad core. Unless you are into customizing everything and having really good stuff in your system, get the gateway deal.)
Integrated 10/100 Ethernet
I think thats it, unless thats for a wired line
If I have that dvd+/-rw drive, does that mean I can’t burn cds? or do I gotta buy the extra special ones?
the W means Write. So you should have burning capabilities.
This Dell deal cannot be beat,I saw it last week and I don’t know if its still active,I think it is.Basically is a Quad Core system with a 24" LCD for $600.
OK
ITS SEARCH TIME
I NEED CHEAPEST 512 CARD and 4 GIGS OF RAM I CAN FIND FOR THIS BEAST
OK GO NOW!
on newegg you can get 4 gigs of gigabyte ram for like $60 bucks or some shit.
what mobo?
8800GT/GTS is your best bet.
ATI HD3870
ATI HD3850
vista will see 128gb
well at least the higher end versions will.
ok back out of this discussion
If you buy that dell with integrated video, be POSITIVE that you can add a PCI X16 card into the system! I have seen plenty of Dells that has integrated with no additional spot to put a drive in!
they build them like that on purpose so you CANT buy the integrated video computer and add a card…
So, just be careful. Get it in writing that it has a slot…
If you buy the dell and it can support a card, get the 9600GT. $170. Best bang for the buck with that computer.
