Just because someone has a 3K budget doesn’t mean you have to spend it.

Spending 7-900 bucks on a dell with full warranty would be more than adequate for his needs.

I agree. Although I have been pretty impressed with my ibook, so I like to recommend apple as a brand even though they tip the price scale quite a bit. I also have a dell that refuses to stop working, so :tup: to them too.

You cant go wrong with Apple or with Dell.

I think UBMicro might still have those macbooks for 1075 too, thats a solid deal.
