I’m trying to get a hardtop for my Miata painted…
It’s not a show car or anything, but I want a good paint job where they will do it right (remove sealing, window, etc) and blend it nicely with the body (car is red), yet don’t wanna pay a ridiculous amount since it’s a daily driver and all.
Anyone have any suggestions for a good body/paint shop?
Let me know, thanks!
I haven’t been there in years, but Ken Grimm at Number One autobody always did great work. More recently I’ve had good experiences at 9&20 Autobody in Schodack, Tony and Scott are great.
Thanks timmay, I’ll check for a quote at those places…
Anyone else have ideas? Thanks again!
Call Hard Knox Collision and Custom in burnt hills. Incredible painter, and you will not be dissapointed in his work. Tell him Matthew sent you, and he will give you a price break.
Whatever you do, avoid Wreckomended up at Glenns Fall’s at all costs.
It took about a year to get a hood and bumper painted, five or six trips up there, 400$, just to have it come out horrible, with bumper flaking within two weeks, and hood work being horrible.
I’ve had great dealings with Lussier’s in Clifton Park…about 30 seconds from the twin bridges. Not cheap, but really nice work.
Thanks all for the suggestions. I’ll let y’all know how it turned out when I get the work done.
Gotta get that hardtop on before the snow hits!
give hard knox a call… you wont regret his work
