As a non-Audi guy what do you get going from the S4 to the RS4?
The RS4 is not currently offered in the US. For his gen, it was a much higher hp, high revving v8 motor, along with a lot of other improved parts.
I did. On summer run flats as well. Don’t recommend that what so ever. I actually went off the road once and obviously it is my fault because I was stupid with my tire selection. However, I’m still here, accident free. I would assume that the car does quite well in the snow with a decent set of winter tires.
I also enjoy the uniqueness of it. I’m likely going to end up in a place with a barn and just keep gobbling up cars that I enjoy, are somewhat rare, and may potentially become collectors items. I have the first gen rs4 which will be something down the road not to mention it is awesome to drive. Same thing with my AMG, the 6.2l will eventually be a thing of the past with all these moves to smaller engines that are twin turbo’d.
Revving a v8 to 8k rpm is also pretty fun.

I’ve been looking at 03 RS6’s today so just got everything all mixed up especially seeing as I enjoyed the rs4 for a day before it went back in to the shop for some clunking. Still waiting on the new struts to go in…
But yea, my bad on saying the first gen. First year of the b7’s. Looks like I need to go find myself a b5 though

I was an Audi Master Tech when RS6’s were still CPO’d… Only one stupid enough to want to do paid maintenance timing belts and rebuild/replace all that KYB DRC GARBAGE.
Yeah after reading about that shit I decided to just get it over with
