My first car was a beat to death 1962 buick with a lot more rust than this 240. Learn how to fix this hunk of shit, don’t get attached to it, and quickly move on to better cars.
I can’t imagine everyone else’s first cars were much better even when other people told you not to buy the car. I had everyone tell me not to buy the old buick, but I learned a lot about cars with that POS, I even learned how to rebuild a generator because alternators were not invented yet.
