was looking all over for trucks as a car doesnt make much sense for me as a dd(bmw is now forsale)
found this one out in geneva. 2011, was new last august. had 8600 miles on it. certified preowned. came with 3yr/39k bumper to bumper and 7year/100k powertrain warrenties. got it for $20k. its a 2wd st package. hemi 5.7 with the multi displacement. (390hp/407tq). had some extras on it already. picked it up last friday and love it. already went through a tank, did the math and got 20.3 mpg. moves out pretty damn quick for a fullsize truck.
i need to change out the muffler on this thing. its way too quiet for me.
Really sharp looking truck. Snow tires + some weight in the bed and it will be ok in the winter. Just have to be a little careful where you park towing a snowmobile trailer.
also has traction control and most of the trucks ive had have been 2wd so i didnt care about the 4x4. plus this one is faster
jays, ive been having to borrow my cousins powerstroke just about every week. always doing something and its a pain in the ass having to borrow a truck. ive had the truck 4 days now and already had to put a screen door and a shower unit in the bed lol.
adam, for now im not going to mess with the suspension but down the road i might do a 2" drop or so to give it a nice stance. not going to slam it as i want it to be able to still use it as a truck. im probably going to order a muffler this week though, probably going with magnaflow.
havent officially posted it forsale yet because i wanted to do a few things first however through word of mouth i had someone look and test drive it yesterday and today they said they would give me what i told them i wanted. so thats already sale pending. lol.
