GOT THE CALL TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ZR-1 BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The LS9 is indeed built in wixom. The LSA going in the CTS v is not.

You better get some kind of contract saying sale@ MSRP, becuase there aren’t going to be very many here and the demand will be exponentially higher than the supply. If they told you MSRP then some baller comes along and says, “I’ll give you MSRP + 60K” guess who’s getting the car. I don’t give a fuck how good of a customer or friends you are with the dealer. You gotta buy a lot of GD cars to give them a 60k profit.

wow man, wow

congrats!

Anyone hear any more to the rumor that is currently circulating regarding a nearly $100k MSRP?

first one off the line sold at barret-jackson for $1,000,000 with proceeds going to united way and including some extras

not what I’m talking about

Definitely pick up this month’s Car and Driver. Quite a bit of info on the ZR1 in there.

Contrats!!!

Nice car? Yes definately…

Hottest car? Not really.

Congrats on the good news.

first one sold for a million dollars at barrett jackson car auction

Ultradriver10000 vs. ZR1

It has to go down before he buys his own ZR1 and i drive one of them to see which is faster.

yea that has been the rumored price all along. For what you get I think that price is more that fair.

Meh, I don’t know. $120k buys a lot of other cars. Out of the box performance isn’t all that important at that price range, aside from the bench racers.

confirmed at the auto show. thats about all i caught the lady say.

I agree. $100K is a lot of money for a corvette, and yes, it’s a great performer, but if you got that much to drop on a car, I don’t think “corvette” is the first car that will come to mind. It will appeal to a lot of enthusiasts that can’t afford it, and a lot of wealthy folks that can afford it, but are considering “other” cars in that price range. It will be interesting to see what happens. No doubt though, it’s an incredible performer.

with the limited run that will be made I am sure they will sell out no problem.

on a side note If this car had a badge other than a bowtie on it, The price would be at least another 75k.

Very true, and @ that $ range there are 4-5 others I would consider first.

But, you have to factor in the Corvette faithful… you know, the people that continued to support the Vette through the 70s & 80s

IMO: By no means is it a bad car.
If it is sub $100k, then its an awesome car.
If its $100 - $120, then its still a top tier car.
If its >$120, then its a bad decision by GM.

But in the end, I’m don’t believe that this is a car that is made for the sales numbers.

Put the $$$ down Sat. morning,so now the wait begins.
There were actually a few other cars I had considered and was going to wait a year and get the savings up where I wanted them seeing how I have no job.
Being a man of my word tho, when I got the call and he told me he got me one( I told him before to do what he could to get me one) I had no choice.
I was actually leaning towards the Viper.
D

lol why?

Something different I suppose.Who knows when the time got closer if I actually would.
Kev, On a different note, a 1,100 mile Hardtop GN was at an auction in PA last week.I yelled at the guy for not buying it when he told me the guy wanted 22K for it.He’s going to try and get the # for me next time he goes.
MSRP on Said Vette is supposedly 99K for base.

Also Kev, When I said I was leaning towards the Viper, that was when I couldn’t get a discount on the Z.
