Gots trailer?

Anybody have a trailer I may be able to use sunday? R compounds on the SHO @ NYIRP. I am either running 13’s or I’m breaking something, most likely an axle.

This has been asked 4-5 times in the past couple of months… no one ever offers.

I tried myself about 2 weeks ago.

Might I suggest Uhaul for $30’ish.

When/if I sell my car, I’m buying a truck and trailer.

Then I will profit.

:ohnoes:

buh-bye half shafts!

and in the context of being helpful, definitely go with u-haul as you can get all the straps 'n such that you’ll need, plus their trailers are up to snuff. see if you can get a two-wheel dolly, throw the front end up, and away you go. will also come in handy after the night is over :wink:

Find a decent cheap one, I’ll split it with You.

I’ve been debating it for months. I’ve towed 6 cars around town with just tow straps over the last year… but that requires someone to steer/brake the other vehicle and is generally alot less safe & rougher on the other vehicle.

Have class III & 5k lb limit, will tow. BYOTrailer.

:tup:

Anyone ever bought one of the DIY kits for trailers?

I have someone I can get a car dollie from, I guess it is better than nada

Wait, why can’t you put the slicks in the backseat of your car… or trunk…?

2 whl dollie >>>>> trailer

/// AWD ///

so, uh, is that supposed to mean > AWD or < AWD?

Like:

////
AWD

-or-

////
AWD

Anyhow, Yea, You can still dolly tow an AWD. My old GrandCherokee was AWD (not 4wd) and the tow truck would lift the front wheels, and then lift the rears with a DOLLY

good luck clearing the plastics.

Your a penis sometimes. And sometimes I like you :stuck_out_tongue:

Uh…I can’t speak to your old Jeep, but if you did that to a Subaru, it’d be broken.

My jeep lasted another 15k miles till it spun a min bearing.

uhhh, why? all four wheels are off of the ground? I’m curious.

what plastics…?

Wanna makeout?

my car has plastic on the bottom… like the bumper, rocker panels, everything but the hood, fenders, and roof.
When you jack up the front of a vehicle the rear end slopes closer to the ground. When you try to get a dolly under the vehicle at this time, it won’t fit… and a jack (the lifting kind) won’t fit either. Your plan sucks, and your POS was made to pull my trailer… not a dolly. Unless there was a dolly in the trailer… then we’ll take turns hittin it.

K, got sidetracked, was talking about a different vehicle.

:shoot:

Weight of trailer + weight of Your 15 second JDM TT Supercar > 5k lbs.

besides, doesn’t Your brother rock a Bronco?

and, just because:

oh snap.

your right… trailer + me = 5k+

shit. we will just have to remember to hook up the emergency chains… instead of ignoring them.

-or-

We could go back to figuring out how to tow RJ-92’s 2wd sho…

I could actually, but it doesn’t help me to get the car home after my halfshafts go, “SNAP”!
