my friends mom let me borrow a canoe, went to go pick it up and found out its about 16-18 ft long …what fun it is to carry it in a 6.5ft bed

it says on the website they only sent out cards to the first 950 or so boats and not to worry about them. we Got ahold of some canoes…hoping it stops raining for friday nights festivities.
I’ll be there! My buddy just picked up a new 26 foot tow behind with slide out! Leaving work at 2 and hopefully be down there by 4!

That kicked my ass…My sunburn is so bad on my head I have blisters… :party: I broke the oars befor I even hit the start line… our boat was to big and 3 people in a boat was a bad idea… next year im getting a kayak
just got back too. Nasty sunburn. Lost a pair of shoes, socks, shirt and some ass stole my paddles right at the end. All in all it was a kick ass time
it was an amazing weekend …got my truck stuck twice, lost a paddle, and my cooler of beer but i did accomplish breaking someones canoe during the one rapids part but best part of the trip was the first 4 stops and having beads…i saw tons of boobs everywhere!!
lol, was that the tight turn a bit before the starting line? We had 3 people in a big canoe too, not the best idea…flipped on that turn before the start then walked around two other nasty ones.
we only came down for the regatta itself and didn’t hang around the stops too much. Had a good time, definitely want to camp next time though. We were thinking of doing kayaks next year too.
i drove by today, looked like fun but it doesn’t sound like fun
its not to bad, its like playing drunk battleships. I just wish it didnt rain friday night because it was a huge mud pit by are campsite and that would be the reason why my truck has 5inches of mud everywhere and was stuck twice.
I fliped right after stop #4 … there was that turn with the big rock and the tree with like 2 guys standing on the shore ( I knew why they were their after I fliped) … lol I was the fat kid that was facing the wrong way in the back of a row boat (but I saw more tits this way)
there were so many drunk sluts that just wanted to get some it was not even funny …
all in all got in the river at 9:30 and got out about 6:15 BBQ was great

I was there for the party; next year I’m doing the canoe thing for sure!!!
Crazzzyyyy time; but totally awesome. Saw lots of people I knew; and had a great time. Didn’t get burned too bad, but did tweak my knee somehow.
