if i get the basic h4 will i have high beam or will i need the h4 hi/low

Usually, Hi-Lo is used to describe an H4 system where the Xenon bulb is the low, and a Halogen is the high. Bi-Xenon refers to a system where a solenoid moves the bulb back and forth to give the high beam and low beam effect.

So it’s the same effect, you get both the high beam and the low beam, but in different ways.

no high beam for regular H4.

just elaborate with the price CHEAP, ballast is made in Germany and bulbs i think china/korea. not too sure.
as for reliability they should be fine, i installed a set on a civic and maxima awhile ago, so far so good.
if you are worried about the quality I can get Hella and Bosch HID, that won’t be cheap haha.
i dunno about the 5000k h7, you can get the 4000k

bulb size H4 if you are still using flip up light.
you gonna need to grab some h4 conversion housing, they sell them at Canadian Tire (bosch housing) or you can get the Eurolite one at Flea Markets or any Performance shop.

Hey Ryan,

I’m interested in a set of 9007 bulbs for my truck. Now do these come in the Bi-Xeon or is that only availble for the H4 bulbs?

If only the single beam is availible does that mean I would loose my hi beams with this kit?

Also whats the pricing like on the Hella and Bosch kits?

Last question is there an option for a sealed unit Bi-Xeon lamp? Hi/Lo beam? Something like what you would see on a Acura TL for example?

Sorry for all the newbish questions I’m fairly new to this topic.

the Bi-xenon is only available for H4 app. for this brand. sorry

yes you would loose your Hi beams with this kit.

The pricing for:
Hella 9007 Bi-Xenon $190
Bosch 9007 Bi-Xenon $230 roughly

I don’t think I can get you the seal beam HIDs, doesn’t the TL come with projectors?
