Gti fun, discuss as necessary

gee i duno bob, VR6 altenators are normally in the front under the intake manifold, above the PS pump and AC compressor, not in back below a turbo err i mean, must be something in the way up front.

:tongue

looks like a dumpy ride to me!!

Well am interested in seeing the final outcome I can Definitely say though this photo through me for a loop

i see GOOOOOLLLLD

lol gold the most expensive gold fire wall ever. I hear he has a solid gold diped turbo housing and titaniom intake manifold with 150 shot of nitrous. and when he hit the gas its so fast he lost his skin color he used to be black rofl

Not impressed by the relocated alternator. Would be much more impressed by the GT42R that is probably inhabiting the alternators vacant space.

You said alternator right?

I dunno. All I know for a fact is that was 100% NOT a joke.

turbo isnt in near the firewall anymorz?

he wishes

What that he had a 42r or that his spool was relocated up two feet forward of where it should be :lol

Yes the alt is in back because of some “fab work” up front ya’ll. AC had to be deleted too, as well as his OE throttle body, most of the front core support, bumper bar, etc.

Car needs a retune though, and AWD, and rebuilt suspension so it can run more than ~15lbs of boost at 1/2 throttle w/o spinning the tires all to hell…

he doesnt NEED awd, he just needs suspension that’s not blown

suspension a definite, AWD just makes it fun

very time consuming swap and its still prone to breaking the haldex. guy i know had a haldex swap on his 1.8T making big power and the diff blew up two weeks later.

you may or may not have read the thread.

y not just get an R32 lol. its pretty much gonna be the same thing.
