454’s suck anyway. beside, all big blocks are not created equal, take olds for example the 455’s in 76 were no where close the one that showed up in the 69 HO. people just throw out there " i got a 455" " i got a 454". To me that means nothing. Now sayin got a 70 455 block, then i know you are working with something good.

i was young and dumb at the time…all i know is it was supose to be a built 454…all i know is the car was junk…so i was a idiot to try to fix it…sold it for less than the motor cost…i think around 700 or so…then the next day after the guy bought it he was t boned and got 4G’s

i hear that but what about that ugly cutty with the buick stage 1 in it that has the 2.25 exhaust that couldnt get out of the 15s at keystone

why u think its been in the auto trader for two years… thats where know how comes in, you can just put in that engine and go fast, it has to be done right. But the potential for that engine is there.

i cant tell you how much money i spent over the years on gbodys. thta is why i bought new and stayed new. unless i found a really cheap deal that couldnt pass up

hopefully i got it right with my monte, i just spent about 800 in performance parts, the rest was dress up (ricer). but i’m also not looking for anything drastic, taking off the emission and that clogged EGR alone will drop me a few tenths. i was 15.8, i was hoping for 15.2 anything more will be a bonus. But like u said quik, you can’t pass up a good deal, thats why i bought that 81 cutlass with the olds 350, its has all the right internals to run nitrous. for $400 beans i couldn’t say no to $2,500 in reciepts alone.

dont forget rims that u could sell 4 300
