Harbor Freight: Bike Stands

oh yeah?

I eventually want to spend 25k on a bike that I ride 500 miles a year on and have to wash 5 hours a day to keep all my gawdy chrome clean for my grandkids to see.

[sarcasm]me too!!![/sarcasm]

Haha I know man

ughh i need to go to bedddd:picard:

that’s not all harley owners. When I had my 79 ironhead I daily rode it to school and work. And I never washed it.

oh… and speaking of “polishing the chrome” everyday. I don’t see Harley owners arguing over paint colors and dreaming about what color they wished their bike came in. or color matching their plastic parts with their wheels.

I know lol, but most harley guys are like corvette guys.

I wouldn’t mind a cruiser down the road, just don’t find harleys to have a point, you just buy the name and join a cool club then

To each their own blackout, to each their own.

I agree completely. That’s why I owned my Harley for about 3 months. Now I have a British chopper that will have no chrome and never get washed except maybe a hose off every year.

In all seriousness though, both of us spend time and effort to keep up with our bikes, visually and mechanically, urs just takes longer

…and thats where front and rear stands come in!!

=p

You boy’s started on me… I appreciate sport bikes and respect their riders. I even wave to you assholes even though I rarely get it back. Sport biker’s and everyone else spend too much time knocking each other. We’re all part of one big family. :grouphug:

Fuck that jazz. Barely any of the cruiser guys wave to me :(… and I try to wave to everyone.

And I was totally just fucking around before doOd… it’s all good:tup:

I wave to everyone. It breaks my little heart when people don’t wave back… i feel all dejected and melancholy. :frowning:

one time, i waved to two cruiser riders, and they waved back… but instead of a traditional wave, they used their middle fingers.

Calm down…but anyways, cant use a ATV jack, cause they lift from the center, and theres fairings that you don’t really want to lift from.

They have a rear stand at the store on the blvd. Seems to actually be nicely built.

Im going to go buy it right now, if its at the store in stock.

Ill give a review when I get home at 9 from work.

Well I bought it.

39.99 in stock on the blvd location

Solid welds, looks reliable, solid black(only color to choose from), Solid 1 piece, no bolts to come loose…

The rubber L brackets were the swing arm sits on are kinda flimsy and look real cheap, rated for 1000lbs though.

Looks exactly like the Pitbull stands, not as thick though, but almost 1/3 the price can’t be beat.

Wouldn’t personally leave my bike on it all winter, but for a quick chain cleaning, oil change, or a rim swap I give it a thumbs up.

I wish theyd just come out with a triple tree stand, id buy that for sure.

I’m thinking of buying this for the dirt bike, I’m wondering if I would have to cut and re-weld it to be narrower. Or maybe I can just bend the arms closer together if there isn’t enough adjustment, it seems like there might be.
